Healthy Lunch – open to all – By donation
Since 1988, HI Educational Society has served healthy soups, salads and entrees ( meat and vegetarian options) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Cooked by volunteer teams, the food is donated from the Co-op, Bakery, farms, Community garden and other businesses, supplemented with donations and grants. The Clubhouse is open, with coffee or tea available at 11. Lunch is served at 12.30. In addition to 50-75 meals /day, meals are also delivered home to shut-ins and people recuperating from surgery etc.
